The Women’s Rugby World Cup has already given us plenty of excitement—with England now preparing to face Scotland in Bristol this weekend (Sunday, September 14), we’re only expecting more! You can catch all the action at the official Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025 Fan Zone at Canon’s Marsh Amphitheatre.
The free-to-enter Fan Zone (running September 13-14 and 19-20) will host live match screenings, headline music performances, circus, dance, public art and family-friendly activities, all timed to coincide with four knockout stage matches at Ashton Gate Stadium—with hosting duties led by former England international Amber Reed and Welsh rising star Jenna De Vera.
What’s happening at the official Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025 Fan Zone?

The first weekend (September 13-14) will set the tone with live screenings of the tournament’s quarter-finals, enhanced by circus performances programmed by Circus City during halftime breaks. The second weekend (September 19-20) builds on that energy with an expanded lineup and live music, creating a true festival atmosphere on the waterfront.
A huge highlight is the appearance of BBC Introducing artist Hunny Buzz, who will headline the main stage on the second weekend. Joined by emerging grassroots performers from Creative Youth Network, like Frankie Masarik, Hannah Wood, Nathan Solle, and Destiny, it will bring national attention to Bristol’s celebration of women’s rugby.
“Hosting the Women’s Rugby World Cup is a landmark moment for Bristol and the West – and our Fan Zone ensures that everyone can be part of it,” said Helen Godwin, the Mayor of the West of England. “This is not only a celebration of world-class sport, but also a showcase of our region’s incredible creativity, culture and community.”

The Fan Zone will offer immersive, family-friendly activities and visual spectacle, including giant interactive sculptures by Bristol-based robotics studio Air Giants, roaming circus performers and hands-on creative workshops. Plus, a striking new mural by Bristol artist Melo will also be painted live at the Fan Zone on Sunday, September 14, with a design celebrating women, sport and Bristol.
From “have-a-go” rugby sessions with local clubs to climbing walls, cricket, ice hockey and creative workshops, the Fan Zone promises an action-packed programme for families to get involved with. Airhop Bristol will even bring its high-energy Cardio Wall, while Empire Fighting Chance will create an inclusive, non-contact boxing zone.
Elsewhere, the Bristol Pitbulls will give visitors a taste of ice hockey with an inflatable shooting tunnel, and cricket lovers can test their aim with Sixes Social Cricket. For those looking for adventure, the Mendip Activity Centre’s mobile climbing wall will offer a challenge for all abilities, while Bristol Run Club will lead relaxed community runs to celebrate the social side of sport.
