Here are the most Instagrammable places in Bristol this autumn. Liverpool was lovely in the summer, but the leaves have now been dusted with gold, and we can all admire it in all its crisp and crunchy glory. Autumn has arrived! Here are some of the best spots to get that perfect orangey-yellow shot and discover the autumnal hues in the city.
Take a stroll in Victoria Park.
Or Castle Park…
Head south for views of the colourful houses in Cliftonwood.
Pick up a pumpkin.
Stop for photos at cute doorways.
Catch glimpses of gold on every street…
…it’s slowly taking over the city.
Admire Cabot Tower through the autumn leaves.
Discover green spaces within the city of Bristol.
Get lost in the wilderness near Blaise Castle.
Explore a new neighbourhood.

π NOVEMBER π The month of bonfires and fireworks…. and when we're officially allowed to start mentioning the 'C' word (Christmas!) As always, there's lots of fab stuff happening around the city, so here are my top monthly picks. Don't forget to bookmark this post for reference! . π 8th (until 23rd Dec) Get your Christmas shopping done early at Broadmead's festive market with over 50 stalls, as well as food, drink, heated seating, and the chance to try your hand at curling too! . π 9th The World in Bristol at Bristol Museum & Art Gallery 11.30am-3.30pm. This is a day to celebrate the city's diverse culture with music, dance, tours, and taster activities. It sounds like a lot of fun! Check out the @bristolmuseums website for more info. . π 14th The harbourside community at @wappingwharf will be switching on their Christmas lights. Expect plenty of festive cheer during the evening, including mulled cider, hot chocolate, and special performances from the cast of the Snow White production at @tobaccofactorytheatres. The fun starts at 5pm with the lights due to be switched on at 5.45pm. . π 15th-17th @totterdownarttrail is Bristol's longest running annual arts trail where you can visit artists in their own homes to see where and how they create their work. Download the app to see the full map and get walking around this free event! . π· 23rd (until 4 May 2020) Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2019 from the @natural_history_museum at @bristolmuseums M Shed. This is a must-see exhibition of 100 new images from the natural world. Based on what I've seen in previous years, it will be amazing! . π 29th This event is 45 minutes from Bristol but Enchanted Christmas at @westonbirtarb will be well worth the journey. I'll be heading there on the opening evening to discover a wonderland of light and magic, meeting woodland characters along the way. Keep an eye on my stories to see what happens! What are you most looking forward to this month? π§‘

Get some quiet time on Brandon Hill.
Go and stomp on some crunchy leaves?
Take a wonder down to the harbour.
See the city in autumn from above.
Or gaze at the autumnal colours from the Skyview Wheel.
