We know it feels like the last Bank Holiday wasn’t even that long ago (and that the school Easter holidays might never end), but we’ve already got one eye on the next one. This May bank holiday, Avon Valley will welcome Bluey and Bingo, children’s favourite TV animals, to the Adventure and Wildlife Park!
Between May 4 and 6, any visitors to Avon Valley will have the chance to meet Australia’s greatest pups. Yes, they might be children’s characters, but we know personally how many parents have also fallen in love with the award-winning cartoon. So we’re sure you’re all just as excited as we are!
Bluey and Bingo, who make up one-half of the Australian Heeler family, will make a very special appearance at the Keynsham-based adventure park. Children of all ages will be able to meet the sisters – whose third season of Bluey will finish airing this year – appearing at intervals across the weekend to meet fans.
It’s not just kids and big kids who’ll have the opportunity to spend time with the duo. If you can believe it, the CBeebies hit show has also become a favourite TV show for many dogs – the animation is designed to be predominantly blue and yellow, two colours that pups are known to be able to see best. Avon Valley is dog-friendly, so your furry friends are also invited to meet Bluey and Bingo.
Doug Douglas, Owner of Avon Valley Wildlife Park, said: “Bluey and Bingo are going to be a wonderful addition to our bank holiday celebrations! Their sense of adventure and curiosity are so reminiscent of how we want our visitors to feel when they join us. We want to invite children of all ages to come and see the characters while they explore the park and meet real-life animals at the same time.”
This year, Avon Valley Adventure & Wildlife Park celebrates its 35th anniversary. Alongside meeting Bluey and Bingo, you’ll also be able to meet all the real-life animals Avon Valley has on show. Plus, enjoy the adventure play area and many park rides, including the miniature railway train and jeep safari. To learn more head here.
