Bristol Old Vic Is Hosting A Pop-Up Series Featuring Mediterranean-Inspired Food This Summer

Enjoy a side of sourdough pizza and tiramisu with your theatre trip.

Theatres are back and as well as providing us with a good dose of arts and culture, Bristol Old Vic is bringing all the food this summer. The Bristol theatre is partnering with some of the city’s most-loved food spots for a series of showstopping pop-up collaborations, called ‘Bristol Old Vic Presents’.

Bristol’s food scene is pretty phenomenal and Bristol Old Vic wants to shine a spotlight on top eateries, starting with pizza legends, Pizzarova, and Grano Kitchen who serve proper Italian food. Taking over the theatre’s kitchens, the two restaurants will be creating some tasty Mediterranean-inspired food for the summer, with everything from handmade sourdough pizzas, pastas, burrata, arancini and caprese salad, to tiramisu, panna cotta and delectable Italian gelatos.

Plus, Coopers’ Hall has been given a makeover to become a beautiful new restaurant space, in addition to dining tables in their architecturally award-winning foyer, set against the backdrop of the original theatre wall. And if the sun decides to show up, you can make yourself at home in one of Bristol Old Vic’s colourful purpose-built beach hut-style cabins out on King Street, which are decorated with a touch of theatrical magic.
