Bristol loves a party, but it’s a city not solely for hedonism. There’s a conscience here. A heart. Which makes this one-night-only, world-first charity concert—where every ticket directly builds micro-homes for people experiencing homelessness—such an obvious event. I can’t believe no one’s done anything like it before!
Global DJ James Hype will bring his explosive SYNC show to Bristol Beacon on Saturday, November 22, to create three new micro-homes in the city. BillyChip Live will be one of just two UK performances by the recent Hï Ibiza resident this year, with the initiative being delivered in partnership with local charity Help Bristol’s Homeless.
“What if your rave built a home?” said James Hype. “I’m proud to support BillyChip Live – it’s an honour to headline a night that’s doing more than entertaining.” Bristol Beacon will transform into a 360-degree venue for the one-of-a-kind event, surrounding Hype with fans on all sides for a fully immersive performance.

What is BillyChip?
Launched in Bristol, BillyChip allows members of the public to purchase tokens in cafés and shops that can be given to rough sleepers, who can redeem them for food or drink. Now, that same ethos is taking to the stage. BillyChip Live invites fans, artists and venues to ‘chip in’—helping fund permanent homes, not just temporary fixes.
“This is a new blueprint for what live music can achieve,” said Jack Gascoigne, Director of Communications at BillyChip. “With James Hype on board, we’re proving that your night out can help someone get their life back.”
Proceeds from BillyChip Live will go to the pioneering local charity, Help Bristol’s Homeless, known for converting shipping containers into safe, fully equipped micro-homes. Each ticket sold will directly fund the construction of these homes.
BillyChip Live line-up:
James Hype, Shermanology, Abi Flynn, HASKELL, Wintle, Alexis Knox, Mas Que Nada Bros, Jayde Adams, Forrero, Tom Murray, Jstn, Seb Bailey, Ben Riches and Jack Bobby.
