From Future Doughnuts to Pinkman’s Bakery, finding dangerously addictive doughnuts in Bristol isn’t exactly hard. But you do-nut want to miss out on Crosstown opening on Queen’s Road next week (February 25).
The London-born shop might be entering a crowded market. But there’s a reason these sourdough doughnuts have been such a huge hit in the capital. Starting in 2014 at a stall on Leather Lane Market. Crosstown now has locations all over London, as well as Brighton, Oxford and Cambridge. But this will be the first branch in the South West.
To celebrate, Crosstown will give away 250 free doughnuts on the day, which are all handmade from scratch. Expect such exciting seasonal flavours as Strawberry Cheesecake, Blood Orange, Matcha Tea, Rhubarb & Jasmine and more. Many of which are vegan-friendly too. While Crosstown’s dough bite boxes are a delightful treat for the indecisive orderer.
Beyond selling a dazzling array of sweetened fried dough, Crosstown will also serve locals small-batch ice cream, with such unique flavours as Spiced Pumpkin Cake and Peanut Butter & Blackcurrant. As well as, special bars of chocolate. You can also just simply drop by for a speciality coffee if you’ve lost your sweet tooth. Stay and relax on the indoor seating – we’re sure you’ll eventually be tempted by something.
If don’t fancy the walk up Park Street, however, you can make all these things come to you. Crosstown will offer next-day delivery across all of Bristol including, Harbourside, Clifton, Gloucester Road and Stokes Croft, Bedminster, Redcliffe, Totterdown, Kingsdown and Redland.
