Dog owners can now throw the ultimate birthday celebration for their pups at Bristol’s BrewDog.
Once the secret shame of crazy pet people, dog birthday parties have officially become mainstream thanks to BrewDog. And we’re not afraid to admit that we’d love this more than our pets would.
Announcing the return of their beloved Dog Pawties, BrewDog is offering a bespoke party service for four-legged friends, complete with dog-sized party hats, dog-friendly cake, and specially brewed doggy ice cream for the celebrant and all their furry friends. The ice cream will be made into a dog-friendly sundae, which will make for the most pawfect pics for the photo album.
BrewDog co-founder, James Watt said dogs are as important as any human customer to the brewers, who allow dogs to become ‘shareholders’ in the business and even have a ‘paw-ternity’ leave programme, which allowed staff to take paid leave to look after a new dog.
He said: “Dogs are as important to us as any of our two-legged craft beer drinking fans. On any given day at our bars, you’re certain to see dogs of all shapes and sizes accompanying their humans. The dog pawties service is an extension of our desire to make our bars the most welcoming places for owners as well as their dogs.”
Parties can be booked via the BrewDog website and there will be a charge of £6 for each dog in attendance. Find BrewDog at 58 Baldwin Street, BS1 1QW.
