Are Freddy and Jason just not spooking you like they used to? Well, if you think can handle your scary movies, it might be time to take the fear factor into the real world this Halloween season. FEAR, the UK’s most renowned and award-winning Scream Park, returns to Avon Valley for 11 terrifying nights this October.
The scare season starts on Friday, October 11 when FEAR invites the brave and bold to these hair-raising multi-sensory immersive events for 11 nights of scares. Having taken place every October since 2014, the Scream Park has been a staple for South West scare addicts – and for its 10th anniversary, we’re expecting visitors to leave filled with even more terror this time.
This year, FEAR at Avon Valley boasts two zones and five multi-sensory and immersive scare attractions, it will also play host to fire and laser shows, street entertainment and a ‘bolt on’ scare experience known as The Exorcism. Visitors will be challenged to hold their nerve as they navigate the attractions and enjoy a night that is as thrilling as it is terrifying.
“No one does Halloween like us! If it’s frights you’re after, FEAR is a completely one-of-a-kind experience in the South West and we know it leaves our guests laughing with exhilaration as they emerge from our scare attractions,” said Doug Douglas, owner of Avon Valley Wildlife & Adventure Park.
Got kids? During half term (October 26 to 31), the award-winning Scream Park becomes FEARless, a frightfully fun experience that invites under-16-year-olds to navigate a tamed-down version of four attraction mazes. Avon Valley is also home to its very own pumpkin patch throughout October – filled with Halloween-themed funfair games and after-dark fire shows.
As the first Scream Park to win the UK’s Best Scare Event twice and the first Scream Park to win Best Attraction and the UK’s Best Scare Event in the same year, FEAR Scream Park is always pushing the twisted envelope. Additionally, FEAR is the first to have a fire show, and create the first attraction in the UK to be partially submerged in water. To learn more about FEAR Scream Park head here.
