Festival season is fast approaching. But one of the South West’s best is missing from the party calendar this year. Valley Fest is taking a fallow year, so instead, the team is launching a more intimate, laid-back festival focused on “heavyweight names and laid-back energy” in the Somerset hills: Lake Paradiso.
Located in the South West’s best place to live, Lake Paradiso transforms Nesta Valley, a beautiful private site in Chew Magna, into a limited-capacity festival space with panoramic views and a natural lake at its centre. Taking place from August 1 to 3, 2025, with Trevor Nelson, Norman Jay MBE and Fun Lovin’ Criminals’ Huey Morgan to headline.

They’re joined by genre pioneers Incognito, disco-funk royalty Odyssey, soul powerhouse Terri Walker and jungle legend Jumping Jack Frost. The line-up also includes Beautiful People, BobaFatt, DJ Diggz (Freed), DJ Die, Graham S, Greensleeves Hi-Fi, Luke De-Sciscio, Mark Anderson, Mikey Stardust, Simon Lloyd, Sofar Sounds, Super Charge Sound System, T Bone and The Sly Players.
But Lake Paradiso isn’t just about who’s on stage. Designed for those who want more than a field and a few stages, the festival also brings together wild spa rituals, wood-fired saunas, hot tubs, handcrafted Bedouin tents and a curated programme of yoga, movement and wellness designed to help guests reset, not just rave.

“We wanted to create something that feels more like a celebration than a spectacle,” says Luke Hasell, founder of Valley Fest and co-creator of Lake Paradiso. “Somewhere people can dance, eat, reset – and feel part of something real. Lake Paradiso is about connection, not chaos. It’s small by design and every detail is intentional. We’ve built it for the kind of weekend we’d want ourselves.”
On top of all this, Bar Paradiso will celebrate Somerset’s finest chefs, producers and mixologists with everything from seasonal plates to natural wines. While Shimmy Discotheque provide plenty of late-night mischief on the festival’s intimate dancefloors after dark. The best part, however, is that tickets are on sale now for only £99 for the full weekend, which is a steal in this day and age.
