With Plan B measures lifted including mask wearing, people are finally getting hyped for a summer as it could look a lot better than the last few ones. With the success of the vaccination programme and large-scale events able to resume, it’s possible to feel properly optimistic for the first time in a while. Today, Love Saves The Day Festival added a little more excitement to the upcoming summer with the announcement of their line-up for the 2022 event.
Love Saves The Day began in Castle Park and has taken place in Eastville Park for the last few years but this year’s festival will be held at Ashton Court Estate. The festival organisers have revealed line-up and tickets are already on sale on their website for the event taking place on the jubilee bank holiday dates of June 2 & 3.
Celebrating its 10th year, the festival will boast 10 stages of music as well as an expansive line-up, spanning a wide range of genres. On the Thursday of Love Saves The Day, festival goers can see electronic duo Bicep headlining, alongside other big names like Kurupt FM, Caroline Polachek and Unknown T.
Plus, the Thursday event will also see some of music’s biggest DJs, such as Jayda G, Folamour, Sub Focus and Ross from Friends. Headlining on Friday 2nd June of the festival is Chase & Status with the likes of Mura Masa, Andy C, Arlo Parks and Easy Life.
Team Love has promised that this year’s event will be bigger and better than ever before. Penny Warner, the Team Love director, explains: “This is a new chapter in the Love Saves story and Ashton Court is an incredibly exciting move for us. It’s allowing us to really expand the event in so many ways; more stages, bigger capacities and some of the most epic line-ups we’ve ever had…and we get the bonus of an extra-long bank holiday weekend!”
