By now, most people have seen the movie ‘Pretty Woman’ starring Julia Roberts and Richard Gere. Vivian will meet Edward once again once stage on a UK and Ireland tour, following a massively successful West End run. And, of course, Pretty Woman The Musical is not skipping Bristol, playing the Hippodrome between October 31 and November 11.
The full cast has now been announced, with Amber Davies playing Vivian Ward, Ore Oduba as Happy Man/ Mr Thompson, Oliver Savile as Edward Lewis and Natalie Paris as Kit De Luca. Amber Davies can currently be seen in the West End as Lorraine Baines in Back to the Future: The Musical at the Adelphi Theatre.

Pretty Woman The Musical is based on one of the most successful rom-coms of all time, recreated live on stage. Set in the late ’80s, Vivian met Edward when her life never looked the same. Spectators will be able to get immersed in the whirlwind romance in the theatrical take on the beloved love story. Plus, the audience will get the chance to get to know the iconic characters in a whole new way they’re not used to.
The musical first premiered at Chicago’s Oriental Theatre in March 2018 and later showed in Broadway where it ran at the Nederlander Theatre. In September 2019, a German production also opened in Hamburg at the Stage Theater an der Elbe and received amazing reviews, and a US Tour of the show happened in October 2021.
You can book your tickets on the musical’s official website.
