Calling the Sons of Satan, sorry, I mean, the Sons of Santa, the most festive biker gang in the UK, is set to tear it up in Bristol this Christmas. Santa’s On A Bike will see hundreds of Santas, snowmen, elves and reindeer riding festive-decorated bikes and booming out Christmas songs.
It might be one of the most surreal sights you’ll see this festive period, but raising money for a good cause, Children’s Hospice South West, it’s what Christmas is all about. All motorbikes, trikes and quads are welcome to join in, with a fully L-plate-friendly ride planned.
What’s the Santa’s on a Bike route?

Motorcyclists from across the South West will be meeting at Winterbourne Academy on Saturday, December 6. Santa’s On A Bike will then set off at 12:30pm, where it will head off towards Charlton Farm Children’s Hospice. The almost two-hour route will head down such popular locations as Gloucester Road, Park Street, and Cumberland Basin.
For the best chance of catching the stream of Santas in Bristol, Santa’s on a Bike will follow this route:
- Winterbourne Academy
- Bradley Stoke Way
- Passing Willow Brook Centre
- Aztec West Roundabout, A38: Gloucester Road
- Filton Air Balloon Roundabout
- Bearpit Roundabout onto The Haymarket, Rupert Street, Park Street, The Triangle, Jacob’s Wells Road
- Hotwells, Cumberland Basin, Swing Bridge
- Long Ashton Park & Ride
- Failand
- Charlton Farm Children’s Hospice
How do I donate?

Children’s Hospice South West supports children and their families who are living with life-limiting conditions. Every penny raised by Santa’s on a Bike will go towards this vital service. You can learn more about donating and getting involved in the ride by heading here.
