We often get a bad reputation as ‘southern softies’ in Bristol, but the arrival of the Tartan Titan is giving us the chance to prove we’re just as tough as anyone north of Birmingham. For the first time ever, the former Guinness World Record-holding inflatable obstacle course will leave its Scottish hometown and set up camp at Avon Valley Adventure & Wildlife Park.
Spanning over 600 metres and 50 sections of obstacles to tackle, The Tartan Titan is set to be the summer’s best team-building (or friendship-challenging) activity. The course is inflated at Avon Valley and runs until the end of the month (until August 31). Visitors to the park can now enjoy a 60-minute slot on the assault course, challenging teammates and beating personal goals to make it through all 50 sections.
Inspired by courses like Total Wipeout, Gladiators and Ninja Warrior, The Tartan Titan will test visitors’ stamina and ability to fight inflatable obstacles on their way to the finish line. Private hire of the Titan is also available for school events, adults-only parties, corporate and team-building events, gym challenges and summer school days out.
“Summer 2024 is set to be our most exhilarating ever at the park!” said Doug Douglas, owner of Avon Valley Adventure & Wildlife Park. “We love being able to host such fun events and are excited to welcome The Tartan Titan, while still being able to offer our established and well-loved daily summer activities as part of Summertopia. This year, guests will be able to stay at the park until 8pm on Fridays, to really make the most of the summer evening sunshine and those later holiday bedtimes.”
Tickets to The Tartan Titan start at £17.50 – and does NOT include entry to the main park. Children must also be over 1.2m and accompanied by an adult ticket holder to have a go. The Tartan Titan is open August 1- 4th, 8- 11, 14-18, 21st, 22-26, and 28-31. To purchase tickets head here.
