At Secret Bristol it goes without saying that we love a secret spot, and this beautiful bar hidden within the Old City offers an element of mystic. Plus, the eclectic cocktails on the bar’s menu are rather special.

The bar serves classic cocktails with a contemporary twist as well as some special concoctions such as the tangy Electric Daisy- a mix of mezcal, chamomile honey, grapefruitcello and lime, topped with soda. The Gold Bar drinks menu also features the likes of a Twisted Dark ‘n’ Stormy that includes a homemade ginger syrup and an elevated take on a rum and coke known as Doctors Cola (no prescription required).

Grab a seat by the bar on a velvet-backed stool and take in its golden features that gives this cocktail lounge its name as well as watch the bartender mix some impressive drinks. Or cosy up on one of The Gold Bar’s armchairs or sofas and enjoy the speak-easy vibe and flamboyant wallpaper designs in this den of opulence.

As well as sipping cocktails, visitors can enjoy great music and a diverse selection of wines and microbrewery craft beers.
