A lot has already been said about what happened to Propyard – the former Feeder Road venue that sort of imploded with debts earlier this year – that it’s probably not worth repeating. It’s time to look ahead and focus on The Prospect Building, which has taken over the site and is fast becoming a new cultural hub in Bristol.
After throwing its debut party with Honey Dijon on Saturday (July 20), AMAAD‘s new venture (who are involved with Elrow Town and Junction 2 in London) has unveiled a huge music series line-up for the rest of the year with an impressive roster of top-level artists – putting the venue back on the music map. Plus, with a state-of-the-art soundsystem, expect some of the biggest parties in Bristol!
Working in collaboration with some of the UK’s leading promoters and organisations to bring an incredible music programme to The Prospect Building, the team has joined forces with Bitch, Please!, Dance Corp, DNB Allstars, FUSE, Junction 2, Let It Roll, Love Saves The Night, Metropolis and RUN. These will join the previously announced legends Overmono (September 28) and Bonobo (October 19) during the venue’s 12-week series.
Paul Jack and Will Harold, Founders of AMAAD, said: “We’re incredibly eager to unleash this phenomenal level of talent and artistry into The Prospect Building. Collaborating with some of the best promoters to bring some of the biggest and most influential names in the music industry to Bristol is just the beginning of our journey for this space. The energy and creativity that these artists will bring are set to redefine the music scene here.”
You can expect to see Joy Orbinson bringing next-level UKG, house and bass music; the legendary figure in the drum and bass scene, Andy C; Dax J and his boundary-pushing techno sets; Disco King and French house pioneer, Dimitri From Paris; and one of the fastest-rising stars in the industry, HAAi. Plus, the likes of Enzo Siragusa, Gerd Janson, Horse Meat Disco, Alex Virgo and more.
Tickets and information on all upcoming shows will be released on The Prospect Building website in the coming weeks. You can learn more by heading here.
