Humans are simple creatures. You’ve probably seen the words ‘free pizza’ and clicked straight away. Don’t worry, we would too, but there’s a little background information you’ll also be interested in learning before we get to that. Because The Bristol Loaf in Bedminster is launching its late nights this Friday (November 8).
The beloved bakery with locations also in Redfield and Bristol Beacon, is probably the breakfast spot in Bedminster. With fresh bread often being made before your very eyes, this light and roomy bakery offers a tantalising selection of sweet and savoury options – from crumpets and croissants to sarnies and sausage rolls.
You’ll also find a varied range of brunch-ier foods – think poached eggs, salads, quiches, that sort of thing. It even serves Sunday roasts for much of the year. So it was only a matter of time before it branched out into evening food service. Every Friday and Saturday evening, you’ll be able to get your hands on charcuterie, cheese, tiramisu and – star of the evening – pizza.
Specifically, deep-dish Detroit pizzas will be the focus of the menu, The three flavours are a classic four-cheese Margarita; pepperoni with hot honey and pickled jalapeños; and butternut squash and friarelli with béchamel. Served alongside beer from Wiper and True, you’ll even be able to grab an offer of beer and a pizza slice for only £10. Plus, there’ll be wine from Native Vine, as well as a selection of cocktails.
So now we’re all caught up, what about this ‘free pizza’? To celebrate the launch of these late-night evenings in Bedminster, The Bristol Loaf is handing out a free slice to the first 100 people through the door. All you have to do is form a queue outside of the doors from 7pm on Bedminster Parade to grab a free bite.
You’ll find The Bristol Loaf at 96 Bedminster Parade, Bristol BS3 4HL.
