There are only 85 days to go until the big day. No, we’re not talking about Christmas, but the release of a new Wallace & Gromit movie, ‘Vengeance Most Fowl’. It won’t debut on the BBC until December 25, but while we wait, we can get into the festive spirit with this one-of-a-kind ‘Wallace & Gromit: A Cracking Christmas Experience’ at Cabot Circus.
From November 16 to December 24, Cabot Circus will host Bristol’s favourite duo, Wallace and Gromit, at The Friary Building in Quakers Friars. It has been transformed into a brand-new festive experience, where you can help Wallace save Christmas by getting his latest gadget – the Christmas-O-Matic – up and running.
Tickets to ‘Wallace & Gromit: A Cracking Christmas Experience’ are on sale now, and priced at £7.50 (plus fees). It’s going to be an unmissable festive event for all Christmas shoppers, Aardman fanatics, and local families – filled with Christmas chaos and cheesy fun. To get your tickets head here.
What else is happening at Cabot Circus this Christmas?
Once the mission of this walk-through immersive experience is complete, you will be welcomed into the Cracking Christmas Cafe. Open to everyone, even man’s best friend, this pop-up festive café aims to be the perfect pit-stop for a post-Christmas shopping cheese sandwich, cake, and cup of tea – and delicious dog treats for your furry friends.
Cabot Circus will also be cracking open the Christmas spirit with its annual Giving Tree. Located under the glass dome, the Giving Tree is spreading festive cheer by giving back this year. Visitors can donate gifts to support local charities, including NEXT Link and The Grand Appeal, raising funds for the Bristol Children’s Hospital.
Sarah Tinsley, Director of Marketing & Placemaking at Hammerson, said: “Last year, our colourful mural with Aardman really captured visitor’s imaginations, so we are excited to be collaborating with them once again for a festive activation which not only champions local artists but also seeks to connect the community at the most magical time of the year.”
