Offering an ever-changing dining experience on North Street, Kitchen By KASK has been celebrating Bristol’s diverse street food culture since 2022. The rotating kitchen has been recently closed for refurbishment, but it’s now back! Kicking off with FRANKIES – a mouthwatering fried chicken and waffles pop-up created by Bristol’s own MasterChef contestant, Adam Sheppard.
Named in homage to Sheppard’s daughter, FRANKIES showcases a menu of gluten-free fried chicken and waffles – paired with natural wines and local beers, of course (what else do you expect from the sister site of Bristol’s beloved wine bar?) You’ll have to get down quickly, however, as it’s only hanging around until September 14.
For his two-week residency, Adam has created two new flavours – Red Thai and Korean – to go alongside fan favourites, Buffalo Blue and Maple Glazed. His signature “million layer potatoes” also make an appearance alongside Mac & Cheese and Frickles, which Jay Rayner raved about when Adam was on MasterChef in 2023. Guests can also look forward to indulgent Zeppole desserts.

What’s new at Kitchen by KASK?
If you’re wondering what’s changed about Kitchen by KASK while it was closed, this is the perfect opportunity to check out its newly refreshed garden. Let’s pray it’s not raining because we’re in the mood for alfresco dining on these last summer days. The re-opening also marks KASK’s fifth anniversary, with the celebrations happening beyond the walls of its North Street bar.
On Saturday, September 14, KASK + Friends will find the team down in The Yard at the Tobacco Factory alongside three of their wine suppliers, French & English specialists Wines Under The Bonnet; Bulgarian specialist The Jolly Merchants; and Bristol’s own Spiegel & Peach.
With each choosing five of their favourite wines, 20 wines will be on show, offering a unique DIY Tasting experience. This kicks off at 12.30pm, with the takeover forming part of the Tobacco Factory’s participation in South Bristol Arts Trail – offering the perfect refreshment for exploring the Art Market, before a DJ takes things long into the evening.
