Looking to spruce the place up? Then look no further than the cool and quirky florists that make up part of the Bristol shopping scene. From super vibrant greenery-infused spaces, to the stores absolutely dripping in hanging plants – these are the best plant shops in Bristol.
1. Wild Leaf
A botanic institution on Gloucester Road, Wild Leaf has been sitting pretty on this road since moving from their old shop on Overton Road in March 2021, and it has a quaint display of plants outside brightening up the area. As the first plant shop in Bristol selling solely indoor plants, the shop has become a regular haunt for plant-lovers in the city – and they deliver some gorgeous plants to your door from BS1 through to BS9.

2. Fancy Plants
Fancy Plants is an Instagrammer’s paradise thanks to their neon lighting up on one of their walls and a comfy armchair which is surrounded by beautiful plants for that ultimate plant parent pic, which can find at their recently opened branch on Gloucester Road. At their two plant shops, the other on Perry Road near the Old City, customers can pick up hanging plants, tropical-looking house plants, succulents and more. Basically, it’s a jungle of house plants and we love it. Plus, they tend to have a weekend offer so snap up a plant at a good price whilst you can.

3. Old Market Plants
Old Market Plants has been tempting passers-by with their gorgeous vibrant plant selection for years already, and have held pop-ups and festivals across the city too – with a real-life store residing in St Philip’s, the Old Market Quarter. The plant experts stock a huge selection of houseplants, from small to large, with tons of greenery and bright, colourful flowers to choose from. If you’re looking for a cute gift, they also offer plant guides, courses and interior plantscaping for any space.

4. Emmeline
Opening up in the neighbourhood of Cotham in 2016, Emmeline has a cute store beautifully decorated with their product, which also includes ranges from tall vases of flowers, to huge house plants, little decorative cacti and so much more. Plus, Emmeline is not just a brilliant plant shop but also a fantastic cafe, so you can sip a coffee and pick out some plants for your home too. With amazing window displays, especially around the festive season, you won’t be able to miss it. There’s so much to choose from for all tastes, so if you’re in the area, we’d recommend stopping here or their branch at Spike Island and new space, Hamilton House.

5. Little Green
Little Green is a great online shop and currently has a space at the Tobacco Factory Market on Sundays between 10am to 2.30pm offering plants in all shapes and sizes, plus suitable for whatever space you have. They are very focused on sustainability by being completely plastic-free, running on renewables and completing almost all their deliveries by bike. Little Green offers plantscaping and a repotting service, plus they also sell gift cards and will recycle any plastic plant pots you may have.
