After a two-year wait for a physical return of the festival’s pride march, Bristol Pride Festival has announced quite the line-up for the 2022 event. Bristol Pride Festival organisers have announced today (April 28) that Canadian singer-songwriter and Grammy Award nominee Carly Rae Jepsen is to headline the Pride Day celebration event.
The multi-million selling, number 1 artist will perform hits from her extensive back-catalogue and joins an already glittering line-up which includes; Alexandra Burke, RuPaul’s Drag Race Canada winner Priyanka, Bright Light Bright Light and Scissor Sister’s Ana Matronic who headlines the Official After Party.
Pride Day will take place on July 9 and after a two-year absence, will return to The Downs. The event will feature multiple stages and attracts some of the biggest names in live music and entertainment, plus showcasing new and emerging talent including performances from local artists and community groups. Pride Day will also see a welcome return of the Pride Big Top, Youth Area, Family Zone and Community Area.

The headline set from Carly Rae Jepsen is going to be a truly special performance that marks the close of two weeks of events celebrating Pride, and showcasing our community across the city.”
Pride Day supporter wristbands are available now priced from £7, featuring various benefits including discounts at on-site bars and food traders, plus free bus travel on Pride Day with First Bus, as well as a dedicated shuttle service running from the end of the parade route to The Downs.
