Complete with puppuccinos, of course.

We love our four-legged friends here at Secret Bristol, so much so there may just happen to be a petition floating around to have these pawfect pals in the workplace. After all, scientific research says it reduces stress and boosts our productivity and wellbeing. No brainer, right?

One Bristol café that welcomes pups with open arms and will make your pooch feel right at home is Flour House. The dog-friendly venue on Park Row, which opened in July 2021, serves a selection of cakes, coffee and cold drinks suitable for both human and doggie consumption.

However, Flour House has gone one step further by launching their very own ‘Doggie Brunch’, with their most recent event featuring a pup menu of blueberry bacon pancakes, breakfast cookies, oatmeal brunch and of course, puppuccinos. With such a great success, Flour House will be making these pooch-dedicated brunches a monthly occurrence so be sure to book in advance for a paw-sitively good time.

As well as offering brunches to dogs, Flour House boasts an extensive botanical-inspired menu with seasonal brunches, lunch and cakes. Choose from the likes of sticky Korean fried chicken on waffles with maple syrup; smashed avocado, red pepper salsa, chilli jam and poached eggs on toast; or potato scones with dill crème fraîche, smoked salmon and poached egg.

They also offer vegan options such as coconut tzatziki, onion bhaji, mango chutney, sumac onions, seeds and mint on flatbread; and a breakfast burrito with spinach, slow roasted tomatoes, avocado, hash browns, vegan sausage, tofu scramble egg and house made spicy beans.

You’ll also find a range of delicious cakes and sweet treats to enjoy alongside your cup of tea or coffee including three different types of brownie (Wagon Wheel, ccokkie dough and classic), vegan banana bread with chocolate chips and peanut butter, Kinder ripple cookies, lemon drizzle cupcakes and large cakes on the counter. Plus, Flour House also accept bespoke cakes orders for special occasions such as birthdays and weddings, or even a pooch party.
