You dough-nut want to miss out on these.

Dough-nut get us wrong, we love a cookie and a brownie any day of the week, however doughnuts are something special. But what makes them extra tasty is when they come fresh out of the oven right here in Bristol and are handcrafted to perfection. And the ones at Future Doughnuts are exactly that. Plus they’re suitable for vegans.

Everything in the Future Doughnuts bakery is handmade, from their signature vegan dough to their glazes, jams, custards and toppings. And if that’s not enough the bakers have also created baked buttermilk gluten-free doughnuts too.

Opening their St Phillip’s shop on September 23, these bakers are bringing tasty yet plant-based doughnuts to the people of Bristol and proving you don’t need animal products to make sensational sweet treats. The doughnut shop will also be serving a selection of coffee by starting with guest coffee roasters, Loud Mouth and Hard Lines.

Future Doughnuts have been working on some fun flavours so expect delicious doughnuts like strawberry sprinkles, red velvet, raspberry and dark chocolate, caramel crunch and blueberry clouds. Plus their toppings are gorgeous with their Caramel Crunch doughnut featuring big chunks of honeycomb and even ones with a cheery smiley face decorated on the top.

But the phenomenal flavours do not stop there. Future Doughnuts updates their menu regularly with weekly specials such as rhubarb and custard, Black Forest and lemon meringue pie. And all these over-the-top fluffy stuffed and topped sourdough doughnuts are priced at £3.50- perfect for a teatime treat, that 3pm slump or simply whenever you’ve got a sweet craving.

Other doughnuts to get your chops round include their delightful dinky doughnuts known as cinnamon holes. These small yet still just as fluffy balls of dough are rolled in plenty of cinnamon sugar. You can order ten of these delectable mini doughnuts for £2.50, making them great for sharing (or not, we don’t judge) or to accompany your coffee from Future Doughnuts.

Dough-nut believe us? Get down there ASAP before these balls of doughy goodness are gone! Future Doughnuts is open Thursday to Sunday, 12pm – 6pm.

Future Doughnuts, 26 Oxford Street, BS2 0QT
