Roll up, roll up, the circus is back in town! The Revel Pucks returns to Bristol’s St Pauls for two weeks this September with their riskiest show yet. Nose Dive Assembly is the multi-award-winning contemporary circus’ third and final instalment in its ‘Risk’ trilogy – but don’t worry, it’s suitable for the whole family.
After first coming to Bristol in 2022 with its celebrated show, The Wing Scuffle Spectacular, The Revel Puck Circus will once again be wowing audiences in the South West. The new show explores themes of trust, daring and community through death-defying performances.
Nose Dive Assembly made its debut to audiences earlier this year in East London and Isle of Wight’s Ventnor Fringe Festival and received rave reviews. And now, Bristol audiences will witness its high-wire walkers, teeterboarders and the UK’s only female Wheel of Death duo. The company has created some of the most nail-biting stunts you’ll see all year.
“We can’t wait to be back in Bristol with our brand new show! The city’s vibrant arts scene and love of the circus make it a favourite stop for our UK tour,” said Luke Hallergarten, Artistic Director of Revel Pucks. “In 2022, Bristol audiences wholly embraced our new take on the contemporary circus experience and we can’t wait to bring our brand new show back to this city we love.
“As always, these Bristol shows will allow us to continue the Revel Pucks mission to engage authentically with local UK communities, providing employment and industry experience to Bristol’s next generation of circus cast and crew, as well as delivering a unique entertainment experience of course.”
Circus-goers can make a day of festivities and join The Revel Pucks in their atmospheric circus village before the show – filled with street performers, food options and the Big Top’s bar. Nose Dive Assembly runs from September 26 to October 6 at The Revel Pucks’ very own Big Top on Wilson Street. You can book your ticket by heading here.
