Is there anything better than pizza? We can only think of one and that’s free pizza. So when Bristol’s Pizza On The Park announced it would be handing out free pizzas this October, we couldn’t believe our eyes.
The pizzeria at the top of Park Street will be giving away 200 pizzas from their restaurant on October 16. They’ll be handed out on a first come, first serve basis from 3pm. So make sure you queue up early to grab a slice of the pie. Because when they’re gone, they’re gone. There might be a way to skip the queue however.
Luckily for those that miss out, Pizza On The Park will also be offering 2-4-1 on all pizzas throughout the following week on UberEats. The news coincides with the restaurant’s recent makeover, which has seen its exterior and interior receive a well-deserved spruce up.
There is also a new menu to celebrate. New pizzas include two new vegan options, as well as a Mexican-inspired Carnitas pizza featuring pulled pork, mozzarella, guindilla chillies and chipotle, and a Green Feast of courgette, spinach, pesto, broad beans, pine nuts and pecorino.
Elsewhere on the menu, you can sample small plates of artichoke hearts, arancini and bruschetta. In terms of pasta, you can now try the Italian classic aubergine parmigiana or Sardinian gnocchetti, made with fennel sausage ragu and nduja. If you have room for pudding after all that, order the gorgeously presented honeycomb affogato.
Pizza On The Park is owned by Quarter Bristol, who are the team behind Clifton favourites Racks Bar & Kitchen. To find out more about Pizza On The Park and its menu head here.
