If you’ve never been to Naples, then you’re missing out on some of the world’s best pizza. But don’t worry, you don’t need to book the next flight out of Bristol. Authentic Neapolitan pizza is coming to you, with Rudy’s Pizza Napoletana looking to open in Bristol later this summer—and to celebrate, it’s got 3000 pizzas to give away.
Launching a decade ago in Manchester, Rudy’s has since gained a cult following for its authentic Neapolitan pizzas with locations all over the country. Transforming the former Royal Bank of Scotland branch on Baldwin Street, the new 3000 sq ft location, with 120 indoor covers and plans for 35 additional outdoor covers, will mark the brand’s 34th opening across the UK.
How do I get my hands on free pizza?

“We’re seriously excited to be saying ciao to Bristol with our new opening and to bring our signature Neapolitan pizzas to the community for the very first time,” said Neal Bates, Managing Director of Rudy’s. “To celebrate, we’re giving away 3,000 pizzas, encouraging everyone to come get their first taste of Rudy’s on us and experience what we’re all about.”
To celebrate the new opening, pizza lovers have the chance to claim one of 3,000 pizzas available on the house on launch day (no official opening date has been given yet). You will be able to choose from Rudy’s fan-favourites such as its Triple Pepperoni, Salsiccia, and Margherita Con Bufala, just by signing up here.
What is Rudy’s Pizza Napoletana like?

Let’s be real: Bristol is packed with pizzerias. But, following the authentic Neapolitan tradition of pizza-making, Rudy’s may still have something unique to offer the city. Serving classic recipes such as Marinara, Margherita and Calabrese, as well as paying homage to famous pizzerias around the globe with its rotating specials, it’s got tried-and-true methods and exciting flavour combinations.
Rudy’s dough is made fresh daily using Caputo ‘00’ flour, which ferments for at least 24 hours, alongside the best quality ingredients from Naples, including San Marzano tomatoes grown on fields next to Mount Vesuvius, and fior di latte mozzarella. Per authentic Neapolitan techniques, the dough is also cooked in a Stefano Ferrara oven for around 60 seconds—resulting in a soft and light pizza with an airy and raised edge.
It’s not just the pizzas either. Rudy’s is keen to provide a full Neapolitan experience through a well-stocked bar. While we can’t promise the Italian sun, you can at least sip on iconic spritzes, ice-cold local lagers and a multitude of soft drinks. Plus, enjoy a range of classic Italian desserts, like gelato, tiramisu, and panna cotta cheesecake. To learn more about Rudy’s head here.
