It’s one of the longest-running club nights in the UK. Bugged Out! started in Manchester’s Sankeys Soap in November 1994 and launched the careers of Erol Alkan, The Chemical Brothers and countless other DJs. On Saturday, November 2, it’s in Bristol to celebrate the big 3-0.
Bugged Out! will be celebrating its 30th at Document – where it held a huge day rave show in February. Legendary dance act The Chemical Brothers will reignite their history with the event by headlining, which runs from 2-11pm, playing a 3-hour DJ set. The duo last played in Bristol for Bugged Out! with a DJ set at Motion in 2017, “an incendiary night of acid house and techno which has gone down in the history books.”
Joining Tom and Ed is Bugged Out! mainstay Erol Alkan will be playing back-to-back with like-minded soul Leon Vynehall. Meanwhile, Manchester legend DJ Paulette, winner of DJ Mag Lifetime Achievement Award 2022, also joins the party. NTS star Tia Cousins and Bugged resident Fall Forward will be warming things up from 2pm.
Tickets are already on the second release and going for £44.46. But if you’re after two, they only cost £39.90 each, and £36.48 each when buying four. They’re not the only dance music legends to be performing at the St Jude’s venue either this November. Faithless will be performing live the following weekend (November 9), while Liverpool promoters Worried About Henry celebrates a decade later in the month (November 23).
