We’re over halfway through ‘Gromit Unleashed 3’, but we’re sure many of you are wrapping up your collections already. From the Wednesday-inspired Feathers McGraw at Temple Meads to the extraterrestrial Gromit, Beagle 3 at Aerospace, the sculpture trail has taken us all over Bristol in the name of charity.
The Grand Appeal still has plenty of surprises up its sleeve to keep us engaged, however. A handful of miniatures have been added to the trail (ends on Sunday, August 31)—meaning you’ve found a new reason to see even more of this colouful and crazy city!
Where can I find the new miniatures?

The new miniatures are on display at Bristol Museum & Art Gallery among the collections, from August 1 to 31. The first two have been donated by Castle Arts Foundry, which you may recognise as the very same cast solid bronze statuettes recently unveiled in Nick Park’s home city of Preston.
Wallace can be seen in his infamous Wrong Trousers alongside his faithful pal Gromit, who’s busy catching up on the latest headlines in the Evening Lamp-Post. Lurking not too far away is the notorious criminal Feathers McGraw, wielding the controller and wreaking havoc!

Elsewhere, keep an eye out for Feathers as you’ve never seen him before. Firstly, captured in oil on canvas as The Bird with a Diamond Earring (painted by Giuliana Terran). Then, as a priceless Fraberge-style treasure crafted by an artisan jeweller (aka Tom Astley). The Chicken and the Egg is a dazzling sight to behold.
All four miniature artworks will go under the hammer at the ‘Gromit Unleashed 3’ auction in October, helping to raise funds for Bristol Children’s Hospital and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at St Michael’s Hospital. To learn more about ‘Gromit Unleashed 3’, head here.
