1. New Year’s Eve House Party
Bristol’s funkiest, friendliest New Year’s Eve House Party is happening at Bristol Old Vic. There’s a mirror ball dance floor in the foyer with a boogie-inducing live sax player, playing along to huge 80’s & 90’s sing-a-long hits; live music from the magnificent The ZuZu Men, sprinkles of magic from internet sensation, Kieron The Mighty, and a non-stop silent disco in Coopers’ Hal; plus, don’t forget the confetti cannons! 2. The Prospect Building
Celebrating its first New Year’s Eve in Bristol, The Prospect Building is pulling out all the stops on December 31. With a huge lineup of DJs ready for the biggest night of the year, the legendary Joy Orbison will headline with a bucketload of bass-heavy bangers. Joining the London-based artists is a massive list of amazing talent, ranging from Bristol-based rising stars to international heavy-hitters. 3. Motion
From new to old, could this be the very last New Year’s Eve at Bristol’s most iconic nightclub? If so, we’ve got two huge huge parties happening at the 11th-best club in the world to go out with a bang! First up is an unmissable celebration of Bristol’s underground scene with a heavyweight lineup, unique back-to-back sets, and the unmistakable energy that has come to define Motion.
The likes of DJ Hype, Dillinja, Technimatic and many more will perform with immersive visuals and an electric atmosphere. 4. The Cider Box

5. Mad Hatters Masquerade Ball
Fancy a break from Bristol this New Year’s Eve? Head down to Weston-super-Mare for the Grand Pier New Year’s Eve Ball. 7. The Milk Thistle
The Milk Thistle presents The Garden of Earthly Delights this NYE. You’ll find an ethereal paradise across three floors, as this clandestine cocktail bar transforms into a haven of “mystery, decadence and wonder” – in partnership with Telmont Champagne and Remy Cointreu. Alongside a one-night-only menu, you’ll find walkabout performers, magicians and burlesque, as well as a DJ and midnight fizz. 8. Death Disco
Having opened last Christmas, Death Disco was described as the “cocktail bar, music venue and nightclub you didn’t know you needed.” Think old skool NYC-vibes with all-night vocal house music, Hed Kandi and 90s Strictly Rhythm classics from Beautiful People residents Thrilogy, Emski and special guests Deli G, Deep DJs (Delster & Jason Blake) and The Disruptors. 9. The Loco Klub
Bristol’s home for alternative art, the weird and wonderful Loco Klub welcomes a genre-defining line-up to Bristol on New Year’s Eve – featuring a live set from one of the greats of dub reggae Mad Professor, alongside a DJ set from Bristol’s boundary-breaking bass producer Om Unit. 10. The Square Club
Bristol’s private members’ club opens its doors for all to attend the ‘best NYE party Bristol has to offer.’ This year’s theme at The Square Club is Midnight in New Orleans – and an all-inclusive ticket will grant you access to an all-night soirée of dancing and revelry, with free-flowing drinks all night. CGC Sound System bring one of Deep Medi’s biggest dubstep weapons to The Canteen, KAIJU. Undeniably, this is the biggest party in Bristol this New Year’s Eve. Moon Festival sees a triple warehouse festival, utilising both indoor and outdoor spaces, bringing together three of Bristol’s biggest brands: Invicta Audio, Rumble In The Jungle and Bris-Tek. 13. The Old Market Assembly
The Old Market Assembly has to have the biggest LGBTQ+ party this New Year’s Eve. QUEER AS F*CK is Bristol’s iconic cabaret club night filled with circus, drag, and burlesque performers before midnight, as well as top talent from the UK’s vibrant drag scene. 14. Lakota
Lakota’s mega New Year’s Eve House Party is back with a full takeover of the entire Lakota complex. Expect a six-room bass-heavy extravaganza lined up with takeovers from Jungle Cakes, Kronic Bass, Tribe of Frog, Wonky Goose, Neuroheadz and Wide Eyes x Clockwork. 16. The Jam Jar
With the party promising to go on until “late late”, The Jam Jar and Chai Wallahs have cooked up a tropical NYE party in Bristol. 17. Trinity Centre
Trinity Centre is writing a New Year’s Revolution this year as it opens both halls for a two-room takeover that promises vibrant, creative expression and counter-culture fury. In the main hall, you’ll find some of Bristol’s most iconic queer DJs, Crotch playing an array of queer club classics, alongside the dance-floor antics of Cute Cartel. The year might be turning 2025, but this New Year’s Eve, party like it’s the 1990s at Bambalan.
